Nestled between 4th and 9th Avenue and State Highway 101 and South Railroad Avenue in the heart of San Mateo, many generations of families have lived and worked in the Central neighborhood community since the turn of the 20th Century. We take pride in our homes and the cultural diversity of our residents.

 

The Central Neighborhood Association (CNA) welcomes all residents in this area to meetings and special events. The purpose of the CNA is to foster socialization between neighbors and address issues of safety, zoning, environmental impact and aesthetics in the area served.
