Michael Weinhauer

President

 

  • Successfully implemented RPPP on E 4th Avenue

  • Board member since 2016

  • San Mateo resident since 2013

  • Occupation: Analytics Consulting and Sales

  • Interests: Triathlon, Outdoors, Traveling, Food, Wine, and Fatherhood

    David Light

    Vice President

    • David moved his family to San Mateo from San Francisco in 1985 to be closer to his work

    • His children all attended public schools in San Mateo (Park Elementary, Borel and Abbott Middle, and Aragon High)

     

    • He and his wife Leslie enjoy the restaurants in San Mateo and visiting their children in California (Long Beach, Sacramento, Roseville)

     

    • David retired from Sanofi Pharmaceutical in 2021 and continues to work as a consultant and with start-up companies

     

    • In addition to volunteering his time with the Central Neighborhood Association, he tutors elementary students for Homework Central

    • In his free time he enjoys walking his Labrador Retriever and riding bicycles (electric and standard)

    Maurine Killough

    Treasurer/Secretary

    • Maurine moved to Central Neighborhood in 1996 when she and her late husband, Daniel Swetlik, married.

    • She has been involved in CNA on many levels over the years and now rejoins the board.

    • Professionally Maurine has a coaching practice for clients seeking personal transformation, is an Administrator for several nonprofits, and manages vacation rental/AIRBNB bookings for properties.

    • She and Rosie, her lab mix, live on 4th Avenue between Fremont and Grant. You may see them walking in the neighborhood quite often!

    Francie Souza

    SMUHA Representative

    • Recently retired from Stanford Health Care & Packard Children’s Hospital within Patient Relations Department.  During this time, founded the PAWS program, where specially trained dogs visited patients to provide comfort. Also founded the Pediatric Massage Therapy program which provided free healing touch therapy to hospital patients and parents. 

    • Volunteer with Peninsula Family Services as a Senior Peer Counselor.

    • Have one daughter who is taking a break from tech and living in South Korea learning the language and traveling. 

     

    • My husband I moved back to San Mateo in 2015 and live on Delaware with our dog Baloo.

     

    • Interests: gardening, travel, playing Recorder with Mid-Peninsula Recorder Orchestra, meeting neighbors while walking our friendly dog, and exploring different restaurants in the area.

    Director

    • Former San  Mateo Public Works Commissioner

    • Co-Founder of Central Neighborhood Association

    • Completed San Mateo City Services Academy

    • Born and raised in San Mateo

    • Completed City of San Mateo Leadership Program

    • Occupation: Property Manager - Real Estate

    • Interests:  Hiking, skiing, traveling, exploring different restaurants
